The 28th Amendment

Term Limits. A People's House. No Corporate Money.

In three sentences

Nobody stays in elected office forever — three terms, twelve years max. The People get a House of their own, free from corporate money. Every law must pass all three chambers — no chamber acts alone.

What this amendment does

1. Term limits on every elected office. Three terms, never more than twelve years. Applies to the House, the Senate, and every elective office. The Supreme Court ruled — only an amendment can do this. We're proposing one.

2. A House of the People. Elected from every walk of life. You can run if you're 18 and a citizen. No wealth requirement. No corporate donations. Campaigns funded by the public treasury and small individual contributions. The existing House stays exactly as it is — same districts, same elections, same people. We just name it honestly: the chamber of business and organized interests.

3. Three-way government. No law passes unless the House of the People, the House of Representatives, and the Senate all agree. Treaties, appointments, impeachment — all three chambers must concur. The government has to agree with itself before it acts on us.

Why this works

Nobody loses their seat. Nobody loses their vote. The business interests keep their chamber. The States keep their chamber. The People finally get one. And nothing passes unless everyone is heard.

Every part of this requires a constitutional amendment. That's the point. Statutes won't fix this. The Supreme Court said so — only Article V can restructure the government. Our founders gave us the tools. We're using them.
